Officials at Citgo say they are banning the sale of K2 and other synthetic marijuana products at their gas stations in metro Detroit.

In an email, Citgo spokesperson Melissa Maslar Arnoff says recent FOX 2 reports have underscored the dangers of the products. “CITGO shares the concerns of parents and community leaders and has sought the assistance of its Marketers to stop the sale of these types of substances at locally owned CITGO branded locations, even in states where the substances may still be legal,” said Anroff.
